Below is a graphic showing the "12 digit" watersheds within West Virginia. Twelve digit watersheds are small watersheds that drain into larger (10 digit) watersheds. Watersheds are "nested", meaning that they exist within each other, essentially making up larger watersheds that all drain into a larger river system.
